Frequently Asked Questions

We host monthly astrology lectures for astrologers and astrology enthusiasts seeking to learn something new and connect with local community.

Below are frequently asked questions about what to expect and our policies.

What to Expect

Astrology presentations are every second Friday of the month from 7:30pm - 9:30pm. (Please note, our monthly meeting time will change to 7:00pm-9:00pm beginning September 13, 2024.)

Arrive early to meet and greet and enjoy refreshments before the presentation.  There are usually brief announcements and welcoming of new members before the presentation.

There's a brief refreshment break about halfway through the lecture to allow you to move around, stretch your legs, and chat.

Our speakers typically allow time for questions at the end of the lecture.

We also host Saturday workshops several times per year. These workshops tend to be a more in-depth learning experience that builds upon the material discussed in the previous Friday's lecture. Check our events schedule for upcoming workshops.

What are the Lecture Topics?

We host a wide variety of speakers from different background and astrological methodologies.

Some lectures are focused on practical techniques while others are more philosophical in nature.

Most lectures tend to be more practical so you can immediately apply the teachings to your own chart and/or astrology practice.

You can find a list of upcoming lecture topics on our event page.

How Many People Attend?

We typically have about 25-35 people attend each lecture. This is an active group but we want to grow! We have many regulars, some folks who attend occasionally, and we often have new members at each meeting.

Feel free to come alone or bring a friend!

Astrology Experience

All levels are welcome! From astro-newbies to seasoned professionals.

While some topics may be more advanced than others, our speakers always endeavor to make the topic relevant for the diversity of experience levels in the room.

Parking

Free parking is available in the underground parking structure, with entrances near Ralph’s and Trader Joe’s.

Please do not park in the above ground parking as Ralph's strictly enforces their 2 hour limit and they will tow.

How to Prepare

Come with an open & curious mind! Some people like to take notes. You may wish to bring your birth chart or have your birthday information available as lectures often provide information you can apply directly to your own natal chart.

How to Become a Member

There are many wonderful benefits to becoming a member, including discounts on lectures and workshops. Most of all, you are supporting and participating in your local astrological community.
