Early in his astrological career Philip Sedgwick attended a lecture by the late Joyce Welman that transported his interests to explore the astrology of deep space. He’s been sending reports and new information back ever since that impacts our solar system and how we perceive it.

At our May meeting Phil will tell us about some of the new planets in our solar system. It’s true, he says. We have new planets in our solar system, like it or not. Perhaps the most important new planet is Eris, the larger than Pluto goddess of discord who hates being excluded (especially by astrologers). He will review with us Pluto and Ceres and dive into exploring the other new planets in addition to Eris: Sedna, Makemake, and Haumea—you might want to check out their mythology. Included in his discussion will be mundane implications, psychological twists and evolutionary directions for each of these bodies.

Not only is Phil a gifted astrologer but he is a fascinating and entertaining lecturer, having also been a stand up comedian. He has appeared on many radio and TV programs throughout the country and has been featured in many newspapers for his work with corporate astrological consulting. He regularly lectures internationally and is the author of three books. Check out his website at: www. philipsedgwick.com. You don’t want to miss this one!
